Aberdeen would have had 'much rockier times' without Milne

Stewart Milne was a "great servant" to Aberdeen and deserves praise for providing the backing to keep the club clear of financial problems, says former chief executive Keith Wyness. Aberdeen businessman Milne, who spent more than two decades as chairman from 1998, is leaving the Dons board after 32 years. Aberdeen won just three trophies - the Scottish Cup and two League Cups - during Milne's time at the club.
