Astronomers Measure Mass of Dormant Black Hole at 6 Billion Solar Masses
An international team of astronomers has directly measured the mass of a dormant black hole, located at the center of an early universe galaxy, finding it to be 6 billion times the mass of the Sun using the Webb Telescope.
