Poland's Old Stoves to Persist for Decades Without Local Action

Old, polluting stoves, known as "smokers," will continue to be a problem in Poland for decades if the pace of their replacement does not accelerate. Local authorities are urged to increase their involvement, as some municipalities could take over 20 years to eliminate them.
