Barrister Gary Lewis has told BBC Radio Merseyside that Everton's appeal against an independent panel's ruling that the club must pay Burnley £35m because of the impact of their breaches of the Premier League's financial rules is "not one without argument". The case, which was heard by a Premier League commission, relates to the 2021-22 season, when Everton were found to have broken Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) over a three-year period.
