Magnitude 5 earthquake hits Surigao del Sur
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5 earthquake jolted Surigao del Sur on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. According to Phivolcs, the earthquake occurred at exactly 8:06 a.m. The quake was located 40 kilometers north, 86° east of Marihatag town. It was tectonic in origin, with a depth of focus
