Early Cyanobacteria Bloom in Baltic Sea Prompts Investigation
Cyanobacteria, commonly known as blue-green algae, appeared in the Baltic Sea in mid-June, significantly earlier than their usual July bloom. Dr. Justyna Kobos from the University of Gdańsk is explaining the reasons behind this accelerated phenomenon.
