124 Individuals Identified for Animal Abandonment in Portugal This Year
Portuguese authorities have identified 124 individuals for abandoning companion animals this year, an offense punishable by up to six months in prison or 60 days' fine, with penalties increased if the abandonment endangers the animal's life.
