Japanese Police Officer Disciplined for Attempted Fraud Over Lost 120,000 Yen

A 24-year-old police officer from Fuchu Police Station was suspended for six months and subsequently resigned after attempting to fraudulently claim 120,000 yen from the lost-and-found system by falsely stating it was his own.
