11 foreigners face caning in Singapore after overstaying their visas

Eleven Nepalese men who overstayed their visit passes in Singapore and worked illegally at food and beverage outlets face up to six months in jail and a minimum of three strokes of the cane after being arrested in a crackdown by immigration and labor authorities.
