Latvian Parliament Rejects Dual Citizenship Public Office Ban
The Latvian Saeima has rejected a proposal by "Latvija pirmajā vietā" to prohibit dual citizens from holding many state and municipal positions. The parliament is also considering a separate proposal to deny weapon permits to dual citizens of Latvia and Russia or Belarus.
