Nine injured after furnace explosion at private steel plant in Jharkhand

An explosion in a furnace chamber at a private steel plant injured nine workers on Sunday. Two critically injured workers were transferred to a Ranchi hospital for advanced treatment. Hot metal splashed after the furnace chamber explosion, causing burn injuries to the workers. An inquiry has been ordered to determine the exact circumstances leading to the incident. The chief factory inspector directed an immediate investigation into the matter.
