Italy Fines Intesa Sanpaolo €18 Million for Illicit Customer Data Processing
Italy's privacy watchdog has fined Intesa Sanpaolo 18 million euros for illicitly processing customer data. This follows the bank's unlawful transfer of approximately 2.4 million clients to its digital banking unit, Isybank Spa.
