EU Court Rules Bulgaria Must Create Conditions for Legal Gender Change
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) in Luxembourg has issued a landmark decision for Bulgaria, ruling that the retrograde practice of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court and Supreme Court of Cassation, which prevents legal gender change, is inconsistent with EU law.
