Warsaw's Waszyngtona Avenue to be Narrowed to Save Trees
Tram workers in Warsaw are preparing to rebuild the tram tracks on Waszyngtona Avenue, which will involve a complete reorganization of the road layout. The street will be narrowed from four lanes to two, with tram tracks moved to the south side, a measure intended to save several hundred trees.
