Honorable Datouo Théodore at the helm of the National Assembly

© AN It is a historic day at the National Assembly this March 17, 2026, Cameron's lawmaking institution. Honorable  Datouo Theodore will henceforth be addressed as the Right Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly. This is thanks to an election process held at the lower house of parliament where he grabbed a total of 133 of the 147 votes cast with 14 null ballot papers counted, granting him a 90.4% vote. He takes over from Cavaye Yeguie Djibril who had been at this position for 34 years....
