Former Suntory Holdings Chairman Not Indicted in Drug Case

Takeshi Niinami, former chairman of Suntory Holdings, was not indicted by the Fukuoka District Public Prosecutors Office after being referred on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Law for allegedly receiving cannabis-containing products. The reasons for the non-indictment were not disclosed.
