The United States military has not escorted any ships through the Strait of Hormuz, an unnamed US official said, according to Reuters.

Armáda Spojených států zatím Hormuzským průlivem neeskortovala žádnou loď, uvedl podle agentury Reuters nejmenovaný americký činitel. O úspěšném doprovodu ropného tankeru americkým námořnictvem při plavbě Hormuzským průlivem v úterý na síti X informoval ministr energetiky USA Chris Wright, o chvíli později však svůj příspěvek smazal. Informace o eskortování tankeru popřely rovněž íránské revoluční gardy.
