Serbian Public Broadcaster Councils Unformed After Mandate Expiry

The program councils for Radio-television of Serbia (RTS) and Radio-television of Vojvodina (RTV) have not been formed, as the mandates of their members have expired and deadlines for new elections were not met. This situation violates the Law on Public Media Services.

Programski saveti Radio-televizije Srbije (RTS) i Radio-televizije Vojvodine (RTV) nisu formirani, pošto su mandati članova tih tela istekli, a rokovi za pokretanje izbora novih članova, koje propisuje Zakon o javnim medijskim servisima, nisu ispoštovani, saopštilo je danas Udruženje novinara Srbije (UNS).
