Records fall at CT high school track championships

Old Lyme senior Chase Gilbert broke an 11-year-old record in the Class S 1,000 meters and the Bloomfield boys broke a record from 1992 in the 4×400-meter relay in Class S, during the state indoor track championships at Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven on Saturday. Gilbert finished in 2 minutes, 50.29 seconds in the 1,000 to break a record set in 2015 by Jessica Drop of Coginchaug. ...
