Austria to Allow Tax-Free Employee Bonuses Up to €500

Austria will allow employers to pay tax-free bonuses to their employees this year, up to €500, but individual performance will no longer be a criterion, requiring "wage-structuring regulations."

Arbeitgeber sollen ihren Beschäftigten auch heuer steuerfreie Prämien auszahlen können. Aber nur noch bis 500 Euro, und es braucht dazu „lohngestaltende Vorschriften“. Individuelle Leistung ist kein Kriterium mehr.
