India's National Highway Toll Plazas to End Cash Payments from April 10
National highways in India will cease accepting cash payments at toll plazas from April 10, transitioning to a fully digital system using FASTag and UPI. The government is also ending toll waivers on ID display, requiring special FASTags or annual passes for exempted individuals, with penalties for non-compliance.
