US confirms at least two on boat shot at by Cuba were Americans
Cuba's Coast Guard killed one American and injured another when it shot at a speedboat off the communist Island, a US official said Thursday, revealing the participation of US nationals in the incident. "At least two individuals were US citizens, one deceased and one injured. A third person was on a US K-1 visa. Others may be legal permanent residents," a US official said of the incident Wednesday off Cuba's northern coast, in which four people were killed and 11 injured.
