Father of AI Yann LeCun declares Elon Musk's AI lab, xAI a 'failure'

AI gp Yann LeCun has called Elon Musk's xAI "kind of a failure," reigniting their long-running feud. The AMI Labs founder and former Meta chief AI scientist told CNBC that Musk can't hire top AI talent because his founding team quit and xAI now rents out its Colossus data centres to recoup costs. LeCun, who is building rival "world models," also warned of an AI "bubble explosion."
