Na tekmah brazilske lige rasistični napadi še zdaleč niso nepogosti pojavi. Simboličen korak v boju proti diskriminaciji je storil Corinthians, ki je dal za vekomaj odstraniti sedež na stadionu z jasnim sporočilom: "Rasizem tukaj nima mesta".
