Indian Regulators Fine Nine Apps, Including Zepto and IndiGo, for 'Dark Patterns'

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed fines of Rs 20 lakh on nine digital platforms, such as Zepto, BookMyShow, and IndiGo, for employing 'dark patterns' in their app and website designs that manipulate users.
