The main competition of the 79th Cannes Film Festival will feature films by Pedro Almodóvar and Asghar Farhadi this year.

V hlavní soutěži 79. ročníku filmového festivalu v Cannes se letos představí snímky Pedra Almodóvara či Asghara Farhádího. Na tiskové konferenci to ve čtvrtek oznámil dlouholetý ředitel festivalu Thierry Frémaux. O Zlatou palmu bude bojovat 21 snímků, festival se v letovisku na francouzské Riviéře uskuteční od 12. do 23. května.
