EU Agrees on Mandatory Microchipping for Dogs and Cats to Combat Illegal Trade

EU member states in Brussels have agreed on new regulations to combat illegal animal trade, which will require dogs and cats in the EU to be microchipped. These rules are already in effect in Austria.
