Silvano Raia, Liver Transplant Pioneer, Dies at 95

Silvano Raia, a pioneer in liver transplantation in Latin America and the first in the world to perform an inter-vivos liver transplant, has died at the age of 95. He also led the creation of Latin America's first cloned pig for xenotransplantation.
