Portuguese Secretary-General Refuses Responsibility for Deaths During INEM Strike
During a strike by pre-hospital emergency technicians (INEM) in Portugal from October 30 to November 4, 2024, 12 deaths were recorded, three of which were linked to response delays. The secretary-general has denied responsibility for not being aware of the strike.
