Cold storage fire in Wando traps firefighters, one dead

A fire at a cold storage warehouse in Wando, South Jeolla Province, left one firefighter dead and another missing on Saturday, as authorities continued search and containment efforts. The blaze broke out at about 8:25 a.m. in a warehouse in Gunoe-myeon, Wando, with fire crews dispatched to the scene, according to officials. Two firefighters became trapped inside the facility while battling the blaze. One was later found dead, while authorities were still searching for the other missing responder
