Ostrava Implements New Housing Concept to Retain Young Residents

The city of Ostrava has introduced a new housing concept, committing to invest three percent of its annual budget into housing development. The plan aims to create a thousand new apartments over ten years to prevent younger generations from leaving the city.

Ostrava má novou koncepci bydlení. Město se v ní zavázalo, že do rozvoje bydlení ročně investuje tři procenta z rozpočtu. Za deset let by mělo ve městě vzniknout tisíc nových bytů. Plán má pomoct zamezit odchodu mladších ročníků jinam.
