Terengganu family appeals for help to find teen who vanished during trip to Cameron Highlands

JERTIH, March 8 — Police have confirmed that a teenage boy who was reported missing while on his way to Cameron Highlands has been found safe. The 16-year-old was reported missing by his family on Tuesday after he failed to return home from a trip to Cameron Highlands. He was last seen at a petrol station in Gua Musang. A search operation was launched by the police and the Fire and Rescue Department. The boy was found wandering in a forest near Gua Musang yesterday evening. He told police that he had gotten lost while hiking. He was reunited with his family shortly after.
