Ilse Baal (94) Honored for Bringing Ketikoti to Alkmaar

Ilse Baal, a 94-year-old resident of Alkmaar, has received a special gratitude award from the Surinamese community in the Netherlands. The former kindergarten teacher was recognized with the Grantangi Award for her volunteer work, particularly for her efforts in establishing Ketikoti celebrations in Alkmaar.
