University of Tokyo to take direct control of affiliated hospital after corruption scandal

The University of Tokyo announced it will directly manage its affiliated hospital following a series of corruption cases involving doctors. One doctor was indicted for allegedly receiving ¥1.8 million in services at clubs and brothels.
