OpenAI Fails to Register 'OpenAI' as Word Mark in EU Court
OpenAI's attempt to register its name as a word mark has been rejected by an EU court in Luxembourg. Judges ruled that the term "OpenAI" is too general and purely descriptive to be granted trademark status.
