Japan to Relax '1.3 Million Yen Wall' for Dependents by Excluding Overtime from Income Calculation

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare will relax the requirements for the '1.3 million yen wall' for dependents starting April, allowing overtime and holiday pay to be excluded from annual income calculations for a period to prevent people from reducing work hours to maintain dependent status.
