A magnitude 4.3 earthquake with a depth of 50 km struck southern Ibaraki Prefecture, causing a seismic intensity of 3 in parts of Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures, with no tsunami warning issued.

【地震情報】茨城県栃木県で震度3 津波の心配なし

12日午前9時2分ごろ、茨城県と栃木県で震度3の揺れを観測する地震がありました。この地震による津波の心配はありません。震度3の揺れを観測したのは、茨城県の笠間市、筑西市、栃木県の宇都宮市、真岡市、下野市でした。また、震度2や1の揺れを関東と福島県の広い範囲で観測しました。気象庁の観測によりますと、震源地は茨城県南部で震源の深さは50キロ、地震の規模を示すマグニチュードは4.3と推定されています。
