Electricity and Natural Gas Prices Decline Amid Strong Wind Generation and US-Iran Talks

Wholesale electricity prices decreased by 58% last week due to increased wind power generation. Natural gas prices also fell by 3.8% in anticipation of a second round of US-Iran negotiations.

Pastarąją savaitę dėl stipraus vėjo išaugus vėjo jėgainių generacijai, didmeninės elektros kaina mažėjo 58 proc. Per savaitę taip pat pigo gamtinės dujos – tikintis JAV ir Irano antrojo derybų rato, jų kaina mažėjo 3,8 proc., pirmadienį pranešė Lietuvos energetikos agentūra (LEA).
