France and Italy Propose Multinational Force for Post-UNIFIL Lebanon Security

France and Italy have jointly proposed the establishment of a multinational coalition to ensure security in Lebanon after the potential withdrawal of the UNIFIL peacekeeping force. This initiative was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron following discussions with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
