SANU Expresses Concern Over Status of University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica

The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) has voiced deep concern that proposed changes to the legal status of the University of Priština, temporarily located in Kosovska Mitrovica, will fundamentally jeopardize its existence.

Srpska akademija nauka i umetnosti (SANU) danas je saopštila da "izražava najveću zabrinutost zbog opasnosti da će najavljenom promenom pravnog statusa Univerziteta u Prištini, s privremenim sedištem u Kosovskoj Mitrovici (UPKM), biti suštinski ugroženi uslovi rada zaposlenih na ovoj samostalnoj visokoškolskoj ustanovi, a time doveden u pitanje i nastavak studiranja više od 9 hiljada studenata" i pozvala Vladu da reaguje.
