Japan's LDP Group Proposes Zero Consumption Tax on Food

A parliamentary group within Japan's Liberal Democratic Party has proposed eliminating the consumption tax on food items to protect citizens from rising prices, submitting the recommendation to the Minister in charge of Growth Strategy.
