Slovak Sugar Production to Avoid Halving Despite Factory Closure
Slovak sugar production will not fall by half as initially feared after the closure of Považský cukor. Instead, it will drop to two-thirds and then three-quarters of its original level, as Südzucker's Sered factory expands production and takes over farmers from its competitor.
