Pesticides Damage Nervous System, Increase ALS Risk by 60 Percent
Pesticides are known to have harmful effects on health. Scientists have now investigated whether occupational exposure to pesticides can increase the risk of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive and incurable neurological disease, by 60 percent.
