Czech Court Upholds 15-Year Sentence for Imprisonment and Abuse of Woman

The High Court in Prague upheld a 15-year prison sentence for a man from Siřem, Louny region, who held a woman captive in his cellar for three months, brutally torturing and repeatedly raping her.

Vrchní soud v Praze potvrdil 15letý trest vězení pro násilníka ze Siřemi na Lounsku. Tři měsíce držel ve sklepě ženu, kterou brutálně týral a opakovaně znásilňoval. Muž vinu přiznal. Délku trestu, proti které se odvolával, ale soud potrvdil. Stejně tak potvrdil i tresty pět a půl a šest let vězení pro tři jeho komplice, kteří ženě například nosili jídlo.
