Four Nuclear Bombs Fell on Spain in 1966 Aviation Tragedy
In 1966, a B-52 bomber collided with a KC-135 refueling plane over Spain, causing three hydrogen bombs to fall on land and one into the sea. Fortunately, none of the weapons produced a nuclear explosion, but the environmental consequences are still felt 60 years later.
