Polish State Electoral Commission to penalize non-transparent political advertisements

The Polish State Electoral Commission (PKW) will be empowered to impose penalties of up to 6% of annual revenue on sponsors, publishers, or service providers for violations related to non-transparent political advertisements.

PKW będzie mogła karać za nieprzejrzyste reklamy polityczne

Za naruszenie przepisów o reklamie politycznej sponsorowi, wydawcy lub dostawcy takich usług będzie mogła grozić kara do 6 proc. rocznego przychodu. Senacki projekt przewiduje w tym obszarze istotną rolę Państwowej Komisji Wyborczej, czemu się ona jednak zdecydowanie sprzeciwia.
