Lithuanian Supreme Court Acquits Journalists in Slander Case
The Lithuanian Supreme Court (LAT) has acquitted journalists Artūras Jančys, Rūta Janutienė, and Saulė Pauliuvienė in a criminal case concerning the alleged slander of Vytautas Valvonis, a former head of the Bank of Lithuania's Supervision Service. The court found their acquittal justified.
