France's CNIL Reports Record Data Breaches in 2025, Up Nearly 10%

The French National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL) recorded 6,167 data breach notifications last year, a 9.5% increase from 2024, marking its highest level ever according to its annual report.
