Suspected arson at abandoned Strovolos building, police say

A fire that broke out at an abandoned building in Strovolos, Nicosia, shortly before 11:00 pm on Tuesday is believed to have been started deliberately, police said. Preliminary investigations indicated the fire originated from discarded items and appeared to have been set maliciously, according to police. The Fire Service extinguished the blaze.
