Scabies cases on the rise in Prague

Prague has seen an increase in scabies infections, with 459 patients recorded in the first half of the year, though health officials state public transport is not a high-risk environment for transmission.

V Praze přibylo nakažených svrabem, cestování MHD ovšem není rizikové

V Praze přibylo lidí nakažených svrabem. Za letošní první pololetí evidují pražští hygienici 459 pacientů, loni to bylo za celý rok 691. Rizikový je podle hygieniků dlouhodobý kontakt s kůži nemocného nebo infikovanou textilií. Cestování městskou hromadnou dopravou podle odborníků rizikové není. Informovala o tom mluvčí pražské hygienické stanice (HSHMP) Petra Batók.
